For me, the entire concept is overwhelming. And I think if people truly truly knew what they were dealing with or what this entailed, they would not be ready for it. Coming into union with a twin flame ON EARTH is fraught with hazard. First of all, two people cannot merge in physical bodies in such a way where that original double soul construct I’ll call it (sort of encased in like a yin/yang symbol or plume) can be reconstituted. That will have to wait until the afterlife.

Also, just looking at identical twins on earth, we can see the difficulties of such an existence. They are always trying to forge their own individual identities yet always glued to one another or gravitating back toward each other, almost to the point of excluding all others. Not that every twin is maladjusted, but it is an unusual phenomenon to begin with. So to ramp that up to a higher spiritual creation would almost have to mean a shedding or abandonment of all that we know and love here because the twins would need each other so badly.

Another thing too is the challenge of incarnating into physical bodies. This double/duplicate soul now has to comply with the laws of duality in 3D, and must now split into opposites. So instead of 2 identical clones walking around on earth at the same time, you have two people that are both identical and opposite dropping into completely different timelines, geographies, whatever. And they are now left with 3 challenges: 1. REMEMBERING they were a twin soul at the point of creation 2. Identifying who that other person is (assuming they are alive at the same time) and finding them 3. The “relationship”. Well, I don’t know what kind of relationship twin flames who’ve found each other are supposed to even carry on. It IS an awe inspiring phenomenon, but does not seem like something to strive for because it is so utterly difficult.

I think what people are truly looking for is a divine partnership/soulmate – one that is the apex of their very existence because it is a perfect compliment. To me, that is humanity’s universally shared heart’s desire. And people who say otherwise are either jaded or hardened or completely closed off to love that they have just written it off. So to me, the people claiming to be in union with a twin flame have gotten the concepts confused because a twin bond is just qualitatively different from the romantic bond of soulmates. I see soulmates (or rather primary soulmates) as the universal principle; “twin flames” are rare, the result of chance and/or a random energetic “accident”. Not better or higher, just different.

And honestly it happens. As everything you have described is absolutely true, it does happen on the planet. I know because it happened to me. But what people think this connection is for is completely out of alignment with the truth. The “mission” of the true twin flames IS to harmonize with each other which is VERY difficult to do because of the laws of projection. But it is a process that works and by living this process we learn to come into harmony with our own vibration. Whether a twin flame PAIR can actually harmonize in one lifetime is the question. But as the twin flame PAIR shift and change their programming to encounter higher and higher versions of themselves, they then can harmonize with each other. The goal is to reach that state of awakened higher source consciousness and live those vibrations. That is quite a “mission” for there not being a twinflame mission LOL. OMG you have to read my most recent article… I’m so sorry I am only seeing this post now, but you know sometimes things happen the way they are supposed to. I have been very busy in my creative expression as well (the one that pays my bills LOL) and I just did not see your comment. Thank you so much for asking a question. We all have work to do until we find ourselves in union. I believe in letting things unfold and continuing to focus on our own awakening whilst the other is doing whatever they have to do. As for him waiting… he needs to focus on himself and make some shifts that will help you as well…But that is not your concern. It is HIS path. And it is probably what is keeping you from coming to him. He needs to do his work. Because he cannot find his completion in you. He must find it within himself! I hope that helps. That said, I do think “twin flames” are in fact real and also, I don’t think any single living person is physically WITH them. The main reason is that for the overwhelming majority of people, the automatic default for the human mind is “partner.” Yet very little attention is actually given to the “twin” part in “twin flames”. Think biological, monozygotic twins only in spiritual form – a duplicity/doubling of one soul entity. That alone would be offputting to all those harmonious, twin flame *lovers* who think they have found their other “half”. Words and definitions do matter. So ultimately, are twin flames a realistic expectation for this life that has been actualized by some people? I would say no.

I cannot think of a single twin flame “couple” in recorded human history. Twin flame couple of WHAT? Lovers? Parent/child? Siblings? Friends? Coworkers? Also, there is no twin flame “mission” on Earth as we know it. This entire concept has been hijacked by these New Age, *enlightened* gurus trying to sell to vulnerable people this notion that twin flames are these divinely anointed (ie CHOSEN) earth missionaries tasked with spiritually enlightening the world. In reality, if a twin flame actually managed to figure out who that other half is, both would have probably had to incarnate at the same time, and this revelation would only occur under the most extraordinary circumstances (perhaps through a near death experience). In other words, it would be an ACCIDENT of such epic proportions that neither was prepared for, causing one or both to go to the ends of the earth to find the other. And the chance of any of this even happening to one specific person is about as likely as winning the lottery 3 times.
